Project: Linocuts – Printmaking
In this workshop, participants will learn professional techniques for transferring designs onto linoleum, executing a range of carving techniques, and tips on printing their final image on paper. All Materials will be provided.
Artist Bio
Christina Coke Clifford, Teaching Artist, Louisville, Kentucky
Education: BA in Visual Arts and MA in Art History, the University of Louisville
Experience: Visual Arts Instructor, Louisville Collegiate School, over 18 years in Lower, Middle, and Upper School; member of the Wood Engravers’ Network, an international printmaking organization
Artistic Practice: Printmaking (linocut, wood engraving), drawing, bookbinding, mixed media, and fiber arts
